Hi everyone, I'm excited to share about my experience of using flax seeds. Before knowing about the flax seeds, I had no clue about the seeds until my sister told me the benefits and riches of the flax seed. I found it is edible in many ways like, You can eat it raw, make a powder and add it in your daily meal or you can even roast and eat it. It can be used for skincare and hair care as well


About flax seeds


Flax seeds are used from ancient days for skincare and hair care. In India, the villagers use to add flax seeds on their diet for gaining nutritional energy for their determined hard work as farmers and also to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You can also add this in your diet table for healthy lifestyle. It is available in two types brown and golden, both of which contain almost similar nutritional characteristics and fatty acids.


Flax seed's nutrition


Flax seeds are packed with macro nutrients like proteins and fiber, as well as micro nutrients like a number of essential minerals and vitamins. They are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids and are widely consumed in numerous ways like adding to on your meal a or eating even raw or roasted. These seeds are good for your health.


You can add flax seeds to your diet as well and you can use it for making DIY for your skin and hair. I will post DIY on flax seeds for skin and hair. you can use your creativity to make DIY using flax seeds.


Benefits of flax seed on skin and hair


Applying a small portion of flax seed gel on your skin, can prevent acne, allergies, and skin damages from the sun exposure, For acne-free skin, eat 1 to 2 tablespoons of ground or roasted flax seeds daily. Eating flax seeds makes your hair shinny and strong, and prevents hair breakage.



Flax seeds can be consumed raw and roasted


For roasting the flax seeds


Roast the flax seeds on a pan for less than 5 minutes, in order to shield the nutritional benefits of flax seed.


For flax seed gel


ingredients


Flax seeds + water


Direction


Take a vessel and add 1 tbsp of flax seeds and 2 cups of water.


Bring it to a boil and stir continuously in low to medium heat.


After 5 minutes the thickness of the water changes to glossy and smooth precipitate.


You can store it in a air tight container, it is best till 1 week in refrigerator and less then 5 days in room temperature.


Direction to use


You can use the gel on your skin and hair directly for better result.
