Skincare magic for detoxifying your skin using red lentils (Masoor Dhal)

Hi everyone, I’m here with another DIY for skincare. I have been a freak to do different things on self-care and this quarantine is helping a lot. Red lentils also known as masoor dhal are packed with nutritional benefits and, I always find myself eating after knowing the benefits of masoor dhal.
Red lentils (Masoor dhal) is a reliable ingredient to add it on your skincare routine. You can make it as a scrub and also include this to your regular face pack as well. It has it’s best benefits, which can treat your skin problems like acne, blemishes, pigmentation, and suntan. Masoor dhal is also an irreplaceable part of Indian cuisine and a reliable beauty Ingredient.
Benefits
Red Lentils contain high amount of vitamin C, essential nutrients, which can helps to nourish your skin. It has antioxidant properties which can slow down your ageing. It helps to treat acne problems, heals pigmentation, wrinkles and ageing and also gives radiant glow to your skin.
Ingredients
Red lentils (Masoor dhal)– 2 tbsp (Adjustable)
Rose water/Water – Required enough to soak dhal
Direction
Blend the soaked dhal into a smooth paste.
You can store the paste in an air tight container and refrigerate it for about 3 -4 days
If you don’t have a fridge make sure to finish it within 2 days
Directions to use
Take a small portion of dhal juice in separate container. You can add turmeric it is totally optional.
Before applying the juice on your face, wash your face with your favourite face wash in order to remove the dirt on your face.
Now, apply the pack on your face and can either leave it or, you can rub it all over your face with gentle pressure for 1 minute and wash it with plain water.
You can also use this in regular basis as well.
My Result
Since this is my first time I used this juice. I was able to see the difference gradually. My skin turned soft and blemishes started to heal and also have a radiant glow.
